I know the movie is still some way off but damn can we at least get a little eye candy JJ????
 
I'm sure we would know the appearance of some of the ships by now if the movie were still shooting for the December 08 release. We at least know what some shuttles look like, what ships will be in the movie and what the Enterprise kinda looks like, which is more than JJ usually allows to be leaked.
 
We know there is a "Fall TV Season", when summer is over and more people are likely to watch TV, and there is a "Summer Movie Season" when people are more likely to go see a movie...

...but I wonder if there is an "Internet chatter/viral campaign season". Is there a time of the year that is better than others for releasing items on the internet with the hopes of creating the most chatter and message board interest?

If so, then maybe Abrams is trying to time the release of information with an eye towards creating the greatest amount of "internet buzz".

Or not.

You and both. Would real cast photos be so bad?? I don't want to hear the "that's not how JJA does it," nonsense. I WANT PICTURES!!!

I predict that when we do finally see the new version of the Enterprise, half-a-dozen people will caim it's a faaaaake!

At this point, I'd be happy to get a spy report from somebody with a reasonable command of English. Have a look at this impression of a preview put together for overseas markets:

We saw the teaser trailer and then we saw what looked to be a very very early version of the full trailer – It showed more footage of Quito (sic) as Spock, much more Chris Pine and also some John Cho and Simon Pegg footage. The film looks like immense fun and there seems to be a lot of action in it. There (sic) look of the crew and the bridge is spot on and the costumes look like the original but with a more modern and practical twist. We got to see Spock talking to his parent as well and Kirk being told to take more responsibility. There were also a lot of montage scenes involves spaceship battles, gun fights and hand to hand combat. I especially like a short clip where we see the crew running through the corridors of the Enterprise – reminded me of next generation loads (sic).
