Ever use someting Trek as your PIN?

Like 8472 or 1701?

I do.

No, but my password is trek for my home computer as well as all of my work stuff. And I think they are trek things that would be really hard to guess even if someone did know how big of a trek fan I am.

hmmm...
lets see... my home network domain is: nx-01
my work email logon is a trek registration number
my work time sheet log on in is a trek captain and some numbers....

so the answers is: maybe....

:guffaw:

I'm surprised at the sheer amount of Trekkies who can guess my four-number ATM code.

I used to be guilty of this, until I got paranoid people would cotton on. I've used lesser known ship registries on piddly less important stuff. If it has set expiry on it, rather than change the whole thing I'm reminded of Picard's wisest words of all:

"There's plenty more letters in the alphabet".

Scotty didn't know what he was talking about when he said "no bloody A, B, C or D".

The registry Andy Probert originally intended for the Vulcan shuttle before stupid studio executives overruled him? ;)

Enterprise reg as PIN and numerous variations on character initials and ship reg/name as passwords. Got a good 20 or 30 passwords out of it.

"504329317510 ... and the final sequence."
-Star Trek The Motion Picture, right?

My pin is also the E's registry along with an extra 2 digits. The 33rd Star Trek book, Deep Domain was the first Trek novel I read, and by luck, the first issue of the comic book I ever bought was issue #33.

I do for my work logins. They make us change it every 90 days or so. So far I've only used the women's names (Tasha, Janeway, Kess, etc), I wonder why?
