There's this site that's basically a product liquidator...I picture it as just one huge-ass warehouse...and it's at woot.com. Generally speaking they sell ONE product per day. If it sells out, it sells out. If not, it goes back to the warehouse.
Sometimes the odds 'n' ends in the warehouse add up and they put the leftovers into a "Bag o' Crap". I knew a guy who actually got a 60" plasma TV in his bag o' crap. Total spent: $1 for the bag o' crap and $5 shipping & handling (every single item ships at that price).
Anyway, some days (like today) they do a "Woot-Off" in which they try to blast as much stuff out of their warehouse as possible. Once an item is sold out they put another one up right away...and it MIGHT be a bag o' crap (MOST of the time the bag o' crap has stuff like an extension cable, an iPod cover, and a sock monkey...plus the bag. You don't ALWAYS get a huge TV but you never know).
Stupid Woot-Off has me refreshing that browser tab over and over waiting for a cool bargain to catch my eye or the fabled bag o' crap even!
Firefox users can get an add-on with notifications of what percentage a deal is sold, etc. It's fun but distracting.
