Because it's a me problem. She can't help it that I find her extremely attractive -- so much so that her looks are distracting to me.
A better question is: "Why is it strange?" Actually, I thought Jackson_Roykirk was implying something about her intelligence as well as her looks. Glad to have that cleared up.
