I have the ePub edition of Seize the Fire and it is riddled with errors. Here is the list of errors I have found. It is quite possible I mat have missed some. I do hope not.

The physical copy was pretty error heavy as well.
That actually makes me feel a little better, odd though that may sound. I got a Kindle for Christmas and I'm often annoyed at the typos that make it into e-books but which I doubt were in the print version.

Sometimes it looks a bit like OCR errors, which leads me to wonder whether they even bothered to have someone proofread the damn thing. That's especially offensive when a publisher charges the same or near-the-same for the e-book.

I believe the "Tietan" spelling is intentional to indicate that the Gorn are pronouncing the name awkwardly (as with "Ryk'kurr" for Riker).

The most glaring error that jumped out at me in the dead tree version was that Hawk was mentioned as being killed by the Gorn rather than the Borg. I mean... it's pretty much been mentioned in all the stories that Keru has appeared in...

Typo's I don't really mind, but this sort of thing can throw me out of the story for a while.

I pointed out Tietan where it was supposed to be Tie-tan.

I'm guessing that this may have been a PDF sourced eBook conversion given that a lot of eco-sculptor was at the end of a line in the print version. So the - is appropriate there, but not in the eBook.

I did fix that in the eBook so it would not toss me out as I was reading.

The error is....

Chapter 15
Sean Hawk, during a Gorn assault some nine years ago

So for those with the pBook, how many of the errors I've pointed out are there? I'm curious how many errors are in the eBook only. And if eco-sculptor is at the end of a line in the pBook, it's not an error. But it is an error in the eBook.
