I know Rick Berman gets bashed alot but I just watched the TNG episode "Brothers" the other day and I was stunned to see the episode was entirely written by Rick Berman. I have always considered this to be one of the best TNG episodes so it got me wondering what other episodes he wrote or co-wrote. So I just looked it up on Memory Alpha. I definitely think he is unnecessarily demonized by Trek fans. Hes certainly responsible for many enjoyable hours of Trek, and for that i'm grateful

There are only two good episodes that I can confirm on that list...

Brothers is, indeed, a fine hour of television. Emissary is the best Trek pilot of them all, with the possible but unlikely exception of the Cage.

Ensign Ro may or may not be a good episode. I recall liking the character all right (and Michelle Forbes blew me away in BSG), but less so when it was a focus episode on her and her Bajoranocity.

DS9's The Maquis I recall being plodding, but it's been ages since I've seen it--I remember Eddington's Maquis stories vividly, but not the ones with the other guy.

Emissary and The Andorian Incident are two of my favorite Trek Episodes. It is hard to believe the people who wrote those also wrote Two Days and Two Nights and These are the Voyages.

Hmm, Rick Berman wasn't involved in the actual writing process as much as it would appear..but I certainly don't dislike him.
