Episodes where you're like "**** it! That's awesome!"

I'm not talking about the Masterpiece Theater episodes or the Popular Favorites. I'm not talking about the ones you're "supposed to" have as your favorites. I mean ones where you think, "That's fucking awesome! I don't give a shit what anyone else thinks!"

We all have episodes like that. Whether you want to admit it or not. So come clean. Which ones are yours?

Off the top of my head:

"Spock's Brain" (TOS) --> I don't care. I know it's not the best episode, not even close, but it's fun to watch! I genuinely get lots of entertainment out of it.

"The Naked Now" (TNG) --> I love watching the crew "drunk"!

"Who Mourns for Morn?" (DS9) --> You have to just go with it!

"Tsukatse" (VOY) --> Seven of Nine vs. The Rock

"Point of Light" (DSC) --> The Klingon stuff was bad-ass. Especially at the end! And everyone I usually disagree with hated it. Icing on the cake.

"Stardust City Rag" (PIC) --> Seven comes in guns a' blazing! Literally.

"Watcher" (PIC) --> I can't go into spoilers. But this one, I love everything about it. Including Lea Thompson directing. Just have to get that out there!

Those are my choices and I'm sticking with them. What are yours? Don't be afraid of getting tarred! You're safe here.

A Night in Sickbay.
Yes, it's bad.
Yes, it's character assassination.

But it has...
Denobulan grooming habits.
A treadmill pissing contest. :vulcan:
A doggy funeral. :wah:
Disappearing underwear. :censored:
A runaway bat, and two hapless bat-hunters. :guffaw:
Hoshi the bat-grabber. :techman:
Archer in dreads and a chainsaw.
And lots of Porthos, the cast's most adorable member. :adore:

"The Naked Time" (TNG) --> I love watching the crew "drunk"!

You've done this before... The Naked Now man!

Ack! My OCD...

Alright, Mr Garth, great thread and I'm going to put my hand up for two big hitters:

Star Trek V - The Final Frontier

Like a Season 3 TOS episode writ large on the big screen with all the plusses and minuses that entails, but for me it's glorious more often than it isn't.

And:

Star Trek - Generations

Come on. Kirk meets Picard and they fight Alex from A Clockwork Orange. Like the above movie, it doesn't quite hold together, but there's enough fan joy in there to make it worth a watch.

I'll be another one to put a hand up for Spock's Brain as well.

Brain, brain, what is brain?

It is crap, but it's crap I enjoy, so... so what? :D

Haven. By all means it is a terrible, incredibly stupid episode that doesn't even pretend to make sense. There's Plotholes Troi could fly the Enterprise through without crashing, and it has one of the worst characterizations of Riker ever.

Yet, a planet that's just so gosh darn beautiful that it supposedly has healing powers, the First Electorine with her "Bea Arthur from Golden Girls" cosplay. Generally all the glittery costumes and outrageous hair (especially Tasha's incredibly 80s do at the dinner!) The fact that nothing in the plot (including why the Enterprise and everybody else is at Haven) is explained. That stupid plant pet Lwaxana has. The pissing contest between Lwaxana and Mrs.Miller, that crappy plastic rose that´s supposed to change colour in response to emotions but only does so once due to special effects constrains, and the fact that the climax gets resolved with some talk about how "everything in the universe is one, so follow your heart honeydew sugar-child!"

The sheer amount of glittery fabric, Space Opera elements, and nonsensical audaciousness of the episode just makes me love it.

I wasn't aware "Who Mourns For Morn" was unpopular - I love it.
Spock's Brain
Move Along Home
Masks
A Night In Sickbay
Sub Rosa and Threshold are unintentionally really funny which for me makes them better than episodes which are forgettable.

TNG The Defector. Especially when Worf reports the Klingon BoPs are "armed and ready" like they're just another weapons array on the Enterprise, and Picard's smug grin just before ordering Worf to reveal them to an overconfident Tomalok.

But really the whole ep is fantastic.
