This thread is for you to share some of your episode ideas, here are a few of mine for Atlantis to start with but i'd be interested in what you can come up with:
------------
Episode 1: Too much of a good thing.
The team arrive on a planet that appears to be the remains an ancient laboratory, most of the lab however is destroyed because the planet has become heavily unstable and is prone to earthquakes, just as the team is about to leave McKay finds a container and opens it, inside he finds a Black ZPM. The team head back to the gate as the entire building looks ready to collapse and takes the ZPM back to Atlantis. McKay studies it and concludes its a new ZPM designed to be able to recharge itself.
(The Black ZPM once switched on is capable of recharging itself but unfortunately it is very unstable because it doesn't stop recharging and if left to recharge beyond it's maximum potential it overloads and explodes ripping a hole in the fabric of space which is why the Ancient scientist who built it kept it locked away in his laboratory.) When the Atlantis team connects it up to Atlantis they discover that the ZPM is recharging faster than it is being drained and McKay makes the discovery that it will likely overload and explode, when they try to disconnect it they can't. They decide to try and use as much power as possible to reverse the recharge rate, they power up the entire city including the city shield but the ZPM still recharges faster than being drained and it's only a matter of time before it overloads. Eventually McKay comes up with a plan to extend the city shield as far as possible, it works in reducing the recharge rate allowing just enough time for the Daedalus to arrive. McKay believes once the ZPM is disconnected it will stop recharging and believes it may be possible to use the Asgard transporter technology on the Daedalus to beam it out, even if it fails the ZPM will explode anyway so they go ahead with the plan. The Daedalus locks on and begins transport. The plan is a success and the Black ZPM is beamed aboard the Daedalus and shuts itself off.
Episode 2: Lost (Part 1)
The Atlantis team travel to another planet, when they arrive they notice the Stargate on the planet is hooked up to some kind of huge strange device but can't seem to figure out what it is, McKay does find out though that the device is able to produce a lot of power and believes it could be used to power the gate allowing for travel to Earth if Atlantis ever ran out of ZPM's and he concludes that long distance travel is possibly what the device is intended for. They contact Atlantis and are given the go ahead to dial Earth and try it out, McKay powers up the Stargate device, dials Earth and a wormhole is established proving the power to the Stargate is enough for travel to the Milky Way. The team enters the Gate. When they exit the gate on the otherside though they are shocked to find there is no SGC, infact there is nothing but rubble from buildings all around them, they begin to scout around assuming they've landed on a different planet only to find a sign written in English, they find the remains of a shop and find several newspapers sprawled around the floor. Sheppard picks one up and reads the date '26th of June, 2013'. McKay realises what the device was for, the device was designed to turn an ordinary Stargate into a time machine. As the team look at eachother speechless they hear a buzzing sound and see a Wraith Dart approaching from the distance, they jump behind the rubble to hide and realise that the Wraith have found Earth in the future and culled the entire planet. Sheppard decides they need to somehow get back to their own time and warn Earth, McKay is less than optimistic pointing out that the Stargate in Pegasus that got them here is in another Galaxy and they don't have enough power to gate there.
Episode 3: Lost (Part 2)
Wraith activity around the area begins to increase and the team agree Earth isn't safe and head back to the gate, the team decide to try and find out if they have any allies left and head for Dakara and the Free Jaffa nation. They enter the gate and when they exit they find themselves onboard a Hat'ak class mothership and on the receiving end of several Jaffa staff weapons one of which is held by Teal'c. When Tea'lc realises who they are he orders the Jaffa to stand down but he is shocked they are even alive, he tells them the last time he heard about them they had tried gating to Earth 5 years ago but never arrived there and went missing, Atlantis sent a team to study the device but never figured out what it was and ordered the planet out of bounds. Sheppard tells Teal'c they need to get back to that planet in Pegasus to try and get back to their own time, if they succeed the Wraith can be stopped. Teal'c explains Dakara was destroyed by the wraith and all that remains of the free jaffa nation is a handful of Hat'ak motherships hiding in the asteroid field of the destroyed planet of Dakara but there is a rumour that a Tau'ri Daedalus class ship 'The Phoenix is still out there fighting the wraith and Teal'c believes they may be able to find it. Teal'c orders the ship into hyperspace and to head for Earth. As they approach closer and closer to Earth they detect more and more wraith activity and Teal'c orders the activation of the Ha'tak cloaking device, they enter Earth's star system and teal'c tells shepherd all they can do is wait and hope the Phoenix shows up and attacks the wraith, they sit and wait for several days but there is no sign of the Phoenix and wraith hive ships have strangely begun to arrive at Earth in large numbers which Teal'c finds unusual, he concludes the wraith must be organising a fleet to attack the rebellion, a group of Milky Way races who have combined forces to fight the wraith. The wraith fleet enters hyperspace and Teal'c orders pursuit because any battle of this scale will likely attract the attention of the Phoenix, the wraith fleet shows to be heading for Reetalia, the homeworld of the Re'tu. They arrive at Reetalia and a large space battle ensues but it is going in the wraiths favour, teal'c decides he cannot sit behind a cloak and watch the fall of the Re'tu and orders the ship to decloak and open fire, the Hat'ak takes heavy damage but just as all seems lost the Phoenix arrives with a fleet of Alkesh and opens fire with its Asgard plasma weapons inflicting heavy damage on the Wraith hive ships, the battle is won by the rebellion but more hive ships much greater in number are on the way. Teal'c contacts the Phoenix and explains the situation, they beam over the Atlantis team but the other wraith hive ships arrive and open fire on the Phoenix, Teal'cs ship takes too much damage and he orders a kamikaze run at one of the hive ships firing at the Phoenix, the wraith ship is destroyed allowing the Phoenix enough time to enter hyperspace towards Pegasus. A large number of the hive ships jump to hyperspace in pursuit but their hyperspace engines are unable to keep up, the Phoenix arrives at the planet in Pegasus but the planet is under wraith control and the device is being studied by the wraith. The Phoenix crew decide the mission is too important to fail and agree they must lay their lives on the line so the mission to return the team will succeed. The Phoenix beams down the majority of the crew armed and ready to fight whilst a skeleton crew takes the Phoenix into battle over the planet. The crew battle the Wraith on the planet surface and reach the Stargate, McKay is able to access the Wraith research files and is relieved to find the information he needs to reverse the device to send them back, the Stargate is activated and the Atlantis team head through back to Atlantis, the remaining Phoenix crew tells the Phoenix the mission was a success so the phoenix beams up the Stargate to stop the wraith from using it. The Phoenix on the brink of destruction with no shields makes a kamikaze run into a hive ship, destroying the hive ship, itself and the stargate. Back in the present time the team heads back to Atlantis and reports what happened, Earth decides the device must be destroyed and orders it's destruction.
More to come.
