Episode ID: two mortal enemies left in the ruins of their city?

I'm trying to find an episode from one of the tv series (not sure which, but nearly sure that it's not TOS, and definitley not animation or new Voyager), which I remember ending with two humanoid mutual enemies getting out of a Starfleet shuttlecraft, in the middle of the flattened ruins of their city (or last city of their planet?) The ruins looked like pics of a nuclear blast site.
I think there was the suggestion thay they were among the last remaining survivors of their race/species/planetary population, and that they were left there by the shuttlcraft crew to mange as best they could.

I've posted in the TNG section as this seems to have the most threads, but would be happy to move the post (or for it to be moved?) to the appropriate section once ID'd.

Thank you

Just to clarify, the shuttlecraft was crewed and piloted by members of the main ship crew of the series, it wasn't stolen.

Further clarifications after having just watched "Let that be..." on a 2010 CBS TOS season 3 blueray dvd :

1. Although it's not relevant to my memory, that episode does open with the Lokai character being apprehended in a stolen Starbase shuttlecraft.
2. There is no scene in that episode on my dvd showing a ground-level view of the planet Cheron. The final scenes depict the interior of the Enterprise, with the two two-tone characters, Lokai and Bele, shown 'beaming' themselves off the Enterprise to the planet, and the ship then continuing on its way.

"Let that be..." is a terrific episode, but it's not the one I'm looking for. I'm pretty sure it's from TNG, Voyager, Enterprise or possibly DS9. It definitely wasn't animation, and obviously can't be the new Discovery series. When I first started looking for it, I thought it might have been an Enterprise episode, but didn't see anything matching in the wiki episode lists, so now I'm inclined towards TNG...

Thank you so far, and any further suggestions gratefully received.

I was going to say Masks. Two rivals in an ancient city fighting it out on the Enterprise. Also, this is the TNG forum so TNG was the first thing I thought of to this question.

It was an ENT episode. I can't remember the main plot, but I definitely recall them stepping out of the shuttlepod and their world is in ruins at the end.

The OP matches LTBYLB almost exactly. Maybe the remastered version of LTBYLB. ENT: Extinction and TNG: The Enemy have some vague similarities. And I really hope it’s not ENT: Precious Cargo.

Thank you tomalak301, it's 'Chosen Realm' - I just saw some video stills on Google, showing Conor O'Farrell's character standing beside Captain Archer in the middle of a destroyed city. There were two opposed religious factions in the episode, but only O'Farrrell's character was taken down to the planet at the end, not one from each side as I thought I'd remembered. He does do a mean fundamentalist...
Being a new member, and as I now know that this is really an ENT question; is there facility to shift this thread to the ENT forum; and if so, should I do it, or ask/wait for a moderator to do it?

astrodan, since you got your answer, I’ll just Close this thread. You can open a new one in ENT for further discussion of the episode.
