That's quite an assumption to make. I've just seen way too much bullshit on the Internet about every subject imagianable, and I'm really, really tried of it. So, yeah, I've become jaded and cynical as hell. That being said, perhaps I should have phrased my incredulity differently.
It wasn't about you or anyone in particular but there are events in the episode which could prompt some to simply declare it to be made up based on their dislike alone, denial is not just a river in Egypt after all. Some may have been doing it to get the poster into trouble, hence why I said to leave it. The spoilers sounded plausible from the start and without the usual fanwank you would see in made up spoilers.
Star Trek: Fenris Rangers, followed by Star Trek: The Maquis (the prequel for the prequel series). And here's the twist: both are led by Chakotay
Agnes starting a steamy romance with Picard immediately after she kills Crusher sounds like something she'd do.
Captain Ezri Dax. The symbiont is older than Picard. "crazy old man" is an in joke referencing how Ben Sisko named Dax.
Maybe so, but she's the only one who fits (from a certain point of view about the old man bit) the criteria of being older than a 95 year old Picard and not feel completely forced like 160 year old Sulu would be.
Spoiler Nicole de Boer was rumored to reprise her role for Season 3 of 'Discovery,' where supposedly she'll be playing Ezri Dax in a flashback seen by the 31st century Dax host who is helping Burhnam & Co. The Trill homeworld seems to be prominently featured in S3, so I'm certain we'll meet Dax again then, as s/he is probably the only creature alive in the 31st century who witnessed what happened to the Federation in the 24th century that supposedly begins its downfall. Or perhaps the rumors are wrong and she's actually reprising her role for 'Picard'
Hmm...if this was an accidental episode release...and given the recent kerfuffle over that promo image...I think it would be safest not to post photos.
I have photos too, but not inclined to post them due to it being early release, but can. I just rewatched the opening scene and the planet destroyed is either Earth or at least Earth-like. Also, there is an image of Oh in the flashback that just screams she is a member of the council of 8 in my interpretation.
Hughs death was probably in the works for Rizzo and the Tal Shiar long before Picard came along. I reckon there is probably more to his story and what he knows than we’ve been told so far.
The moment they announced Hugh would be returning, I suspected they were going to kill him off. That being said, I wonder if there is a twist coming. Jonathan Del Arco has posted some things on twitter suggesting he is in season 2. Most notably when Whoopi Goldberg accepted Patrick Stewart's invitation to return next season, Del Arco tweeted that he hopes Guinan and Hugh will reunite.
Another twist: Chakotay has been recast and is now played by a plank of wood. No one posts a thread complaining about it because no one noticed.
