Now about the next contest "what comes to mind?" It's very simple, what is the very first image that comes to your mind when you think of Enterprise? It can be something funny or serious or sad, a ship or a character. It doesn't have to be the best episode, or the one that stirred the strongest emotions. Let's say I'm looking for the instictive reaction

Repeating the usual contest rules, no more than 140x140 pixels, or 70KB in size.
It will be open until Thursday or Friday, depending on the number of entries.

Hey, come on guys! We need more entries than this. ENT blew up earth, had Vulcans, Andorians, Tellarites, Romulans, peculiar Denobulan grooming practices, an adorable beagle, Empress Sato, hand-to-hand combat, romance, piracy, alternate timelines... let's get going here!

I find it seriously DISTURBING that someone's first association vis-a-vis Enterprise would be "death"

Consciously thinking of a specific image is kind of adverse to the theme, I think. When I think about the show, no particular scene or character or image comes immediately to mind, and that's what our avatars are supposed to be about.

Well, I thought it would be an easy theme to play with, but it seems I was wrong....

While the Kumari-class ships are impressive, I'd go with Shran. He's always popular, and that's a nice image of him. Strikingly blue...

Thanks for the PM, Iceb. Sorry if I've delayed your setting up the voting thread.

As much as I love the cast, I'll go with this... one of the first images of the NX I saw. I think it's Drexler's original concept artwork. Very bold and it reminds of the box art on an airfix kit... like a WWII bomber. I wish I owned it full size. I'd hang it on the wall in a frame.

There's still an opportunity now, if anybody wants to add a last minute avatar entry.
