ENTER - SF & F Avatar Contest: The Heat is On

Thanks for all the votes in the last round, folks!

This week, in honour of the recent heat wave (well, where I live, anyway), the contest will be all about things that are hot! Fire, lava, an unbearable arid climate... and so forth. Any scene, setting, character, etc. from any work of SF/F, as long as the heat plays an important role.

Usual avatar rules apply. You have until, oh, let's say... Sunday to get your entries in.

Yeah, I realized immediately after posting and changed the size to 140x140, but for some reason the original's still showing up.

Are you talking to me? I spend about 30 seconds on these contests. I do an image search on Google, do a square screen capture on whatever I find, upload it as my TrekBBS avatar to reduce the size to 140x140, then upload that to Imageshack. I couldn't even tell you what your entries have been.
