"Destroyer", final episode of Justice League Unlimited and thus the finale of the entire DCAU

None of the subsequent shows or direct to video films took place in that universe?
There are two animated films, Batman & Harley Quinn and Justice League vs. the Fatal Five, which are under debate on whether they are set in the same universe, even among the people involved in their production. The series finale of JLU is the last production that is undeniably part of the DCAU.

The final installment of the New Line/Peter Jackson Middle-Earth franchise was chronologically set before the first installment.

The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies

And before anyone asks, for legal reasons the current Rings of Power series is not connected to the movies, but its own work based on the books.

Last call for entries!

The voting poll will be posted in approximately 24 hours...

Maybe the final entry for this thread gets an honourable mention? Here are a few final scenes (or near final scenes) to some memorable franchises.

The sky’s the limit.

I guess I'd better enter something before the contest reaches its Final End.

Serenity, the theatrical movie that served as a final wrap-up for the Firefly TV series

Well, Serenity wrapped up Firefly on screen. There have several different comic series, in two different continuities, that take place after Serenity.
