Thanks again to all those who voted last time.

With the Olympic Games, the Diamond Jubilee, and various other real life events of pomp and circumstance going on of late, I thought an avatar contest centred around all sorts of rituals and ceremonies would be a good idea.

Christenings, marriages, coronations, funerals, remembrance, awards, magical gatherings, promotions, banishments... anything fictional in the worlds of science fiction and fantasy that brings the people together in formal pageantry, solemn unity, and fancy outfits and stuff.




I'm not sure if I'll be able to post the voting thread later this week, as I'm out of useful Internet contact for a while once the week starts, so if someone could create a voting thread for me please, that would be very nice indeed.
