This week's contest is all about the brave new world of Transhumanism (Post-Humanism) - the improvement and enhancement of the physical, intellectual, and physiological human frame by genetic, cybernetic, biochemical, or other means, resulting in something that is more powerful than the average human, but occasionally (and arguably) too far removed from the original model...
Your avatar could depict an average person who suddenly receives a specific physical or mental upgrade either by accident, necessity or design; or it could show a new version of human conceived and created from the ground up. It could also depict the societies responding to, or created from, transhumanist principles and philosophies - for good or for evil.
