With the forthcoming release of his latest film, The Adventures of Tintin, I think it's about time that the Avatar Contests paid tribute to Steven Spielberg, a name synonymous with blockbuster cinema during the last 40 years, and who has also made a good number of iconic sci-fi and fantasy films.
The theme therefore is sci-fi or fantasy films and TV shows directed, (co-)written, and/or (co-) (executive-) produced by Steven Spielberg.
You'll be familiar with his popular and influential works as a director. Yet he also holds numerous producer credits on other works, including films directed by the likes of Joe Dante, Robert Zemekis, and Michael Bay, so we'll accept those particular works too.

I made the Roger Rabbit av and when I went to post it, I discovered that someone beat me to it. So, I decided to do a dinosaur entry as an alternative. Then I figured I'd post both before making a decision. Probably go with Mrs. Rabbit.
