This week's theme is Christmas Time is Here! In honor of the approaching holiday(s), the avatar contest is about what Christmas ( or Hanukkah, Kwanza, Winter Solstice or the New Year) means to you. Is it family, decorations, snow, parties, religious symbols, lights, Santa, etc? Put it in av form!

Standard rules apply. Avs must fit the 150 x 150 pixels (or less) format of the BBS. No television or movie characters, please, and keep it work-safe.

Poll will go up on Thursday evening, or thereabouts.

Here's mine-- a home decked out for the holidays:

May I use this one? I only ask because I have it entered in another active Av contest in the Enterprise forum (I just love it to death...my nephew sent it to me and I'm showing it off everywhere!)

Get those last entries in! How about snowmen, candy canes, nutcrackers, gingerbread men or houses, light displays, etc? Poll will go up tomorrow evening-ish.

Hope I'm not too late.

We have a(n extremely localized) xmas thingy here, we cut out cardboard 'nisser' and put them on pictureframes, clocks, shelves, places where their presence -and quite often; mischief- lightens up the season...

I happened to have a line for them to hang from in my avatar...

The first image and the ones I used in my entry...

...are drawn by the grand old man of the genre, Frederik Bramming, but a simple image-google of the word "kravlenisse" will open a whole world of the seasonal cardboard fun :)
