I am going to stay on the topic of companions with this one.
But this time let's look at the Doctor meeting companions who used to, or will travel with a past or future incarnation of himself.

For example: Sarah Jane with Tennant's Doctor.
You can use material from the Sarah Jane Adventures as well.
Multi Doctor Stories are good sources as well.
Edit: To make it not too difficult, I'll allow material from other media as well, comics, video games, audio/book covers etc.

I'm fudging the premise a bit but it was the first thing to come to mind:

The actor on the right is Nicholas Courtney, best known for playing the Brigadier during the Jon Pertwee years as well as appearing alongside Patrick Troughton, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, & Sylvester McCoy. He also did audio adventures with Colin Baker & Paul McGann. His great claim to fame is that he's worked with all 8 classic Doctors. But his very first appearance on the show, before he played the Brigadier, was opposite William Hartnell in "The Daleks' Master Plan" as space security officer Bret Vyon. The photo I picked is from that story.

So while he's not playing the same character, it is a very familiar face appearing in an unfamiliar pairing. (And I like to think that Bret Vyon is probably a distant descendant of Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart.)
