ENT Premiere Trailer

Hey guys,

I wanted to share a supercut I edited over the course of a couple days -- something that, other than a few people I know in person, you guys would probably appreciate. As someone trying to cut his teeth doing editing and motion graphics, and also being a long-time fan of ENT, I wanted to practice by making a "trailer" pretending to promote the show during the time leading up to the premiere.

I had been wanting to work on this for several months, but seeing the amazing job Tommy Kraft did with Horizon was ultimately what inspired me to get off my ass and do this. Granted, this is only taking existing footage from Broken Bow and making a TV commercial one might have seen on UPN back in the day, nothing beyond that.

Just interested in sharing it with you all instead of letting it sit on my hard drive.

I enjoyed that. Truthfully, I think it could've done without the clips of Kirk et al because the Enterprise clips alone were enough but that's only my opinion. Overall it was a nice reminder of a series remembered sometimes unkindly.

I liked this video was cut with Enterprise and Tos clips . Nicely done .I still like the Broken Bow premiere episode for Enterprise .

Interesting, but if you want to compare your video to one from the 2001 era, you should check out Disc 2 of the Star Trek The Motion Picture Director's Edition DVD (where you can also see that Enterprise's first season was shot in 1.37:1, but framed for a 1.78:1 soft matte) where there is a promo for Enterprise.
