I don't watch all of these shows, but here's what I think will be the Best Drama nominees:

Lost
Mad Men
Damages
Dexter
Big Love

Winner: probably Mad Men, tho one of these years they really need to give the statue to Dexter.

Best Comedy:

30 Rock
Pushing Daisies
Entourage
...um, and two more

Winner: 30 Rock, tho I'd love to see a Pushing Daisies upset.

...and is there some reason The Wire is not being mentioned? Did it not air in the qualifying time period?

The Emmys just wouldn't be the Emmys if they didn't have a mixture of nominations - shows/people who actually deserve the nomination, and then shows/people who get the nod just because they are popular and show up on the award ballot every year.
