Embedded Static On The Show's Image

I did a search, found nothing, and have seen no discussion, so starting this thread to ask:

Does anyone notice static occasionally embedded into the show? It sometimes looks line-oriented like ghostly text on a monitor, but more often looks to me like a representation of an image transmission with spurious noise. It's so subtle that I was wondering if it is not the show, but CBS or my own equipment. Still, it only happens on Discovery and makes me wonder if the entire show is an archived image being viewed by an in-universe third party. Considering the Enterprise finale, it's not such a good thought.

Yep, I'd like t see a screenshot, too. It makes me wonder if CBS AllAccess has a technology that embeds 'watermarks' identifying accounts that rip episodes and uploads them.

It might help if the OP tells us what kind of equipment he is using.

I didn't notice anything on my 50" 4K TV, running CBS All-Access on the Xbox One S, wirelessly.

I had a couple of horizontal line hiccups caused by going through a Chromecast to my TV.
I don't see anything amiss when viewing it on All Access though.

Yeah. Roku 4230X (Roku 3) on a Samsung UN55MU7000 (55" 4K), wired network.

I'll have to mark the time while watching on the Roku, then replay it on the web to get a screenshot. It will be interesting if the "static" doesn't appear on the web. My son suggested a watermark also.
