I would be absolutely thrilled if Edgar Wright ever directed an episode of Doctor Who and had no idea that he was considered by RTD.

I agree completely.

I wonder which episode it could have been, maybe the Long Game as Pegg is in that one and they have a very firm working relationship, what with Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and probably a few other things that I can't remember right now.
