Eastwick - OK, who bailed out?

Wow, I have Bionic Woman memories when it comes to this show. OK, the leads are hot, but man, the plots suck!
Van Horne is cool but that's it. I mean Ray Wise was cool as hell as Satan in Reaper, but at least the stories were knowingly tongue-in-cheek.
But here it's dull, dull, dull.

Since I haven't seen any thread about the series ever since it started, I guess I'm not the only one who bailed out.

Me. I watched the first episode, then when I began watching the second episode I couldn't bring myself to continue so I deleted it and canceled future recordings. I gave it a chance.

I have to admit I'm still watching this because of Jamie Ray Newman, but yeah it's a pretty lame show.

What's with these new shows featuring middle-aged women acting like high school ditzes who spend 99% of their time worrying about boys and making fun of how ditzy they are about boys?

I can see why any exec would think that's a winning concept.

I really can.

(Not really.)

I still record it every week, but my interest level is low. I tend to get to it on Saturday or Sunday when there's nothing on.

It's just eye candy at this point.

This would have been a neat story if the 'Witches" weren't all goody two shoes with super strict moral centers who ae going to wimp out when things get really interesting.

I was delighted to discover one of the minor characters this week turned out to be a seska/boomber sleeper for the side of evil.

"Sigh".

it'll never be great, but it's not as bad as it could be.

Though, I'm not sure if the giant blond can act at all?

I have semi-bailed. I watched the pilot an have the rest of the episodes still on my DVR. I'm gonna watch em as I really like 2 of the 3 leading ladies.

Was gonna watch it, but it's on opposite something I already watch, and I'm too lazy to record it.

I haven't tuned out yet, but I don't look forward to each episode. I do like Paul Gross and Jamie Ray Newman. Hate Rebecca Romjin's character, and not too fond of Lindsay Price. I will be very suprised if it gets a second season. It don't think it's bad, it just not that good. Very blah.

It's the "Sex in the City" Syndrome.

Never really bailed in, either.

I liked Rebecca Romijn in Pepper Dennis a couple of years ago. I have not bothered to watch Eastwick yet.
