Early Sisko stories?

I was wondering if there are any books/stories about Sisko in his early days. I'd like to read about what the ol' emmissary was up to before DS9. I knows there's stuff like that about Picard and Kirk.

The one that instantly comes to mind is Margaret Wander Bonanno's "Catalyst of Sorrows," part of the Lost Era miniseries. It features Sisko, Selar and Tuvok on a mission into Romulan space.

Margaret Wander Bannano's Catalyst of Sorrows, from the Lost Era series, includes a younger Sisko as one of it's protagonists. The Curzon story in The Lives of Dax is also told from the perspective of a younger Sisko.

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

Sisko was also apparently mentioned in "Deny Thy Father"... that would be when Jake was born. Anyone else remember how much of Sisko's past is actually in the book Saratoga?

There was a Lost Era story in development about Sisko and the war with the Tzenkethi, but it probably died with Marco's dismissal.

One of the authors pretty much confirmed here that the Sisko Lost Era novel was dead.

You're probably thinking of my comment that it was unlikely to happen now that Marco's been laid off. But that's just conjecture on my part; I'm in no position to "confirm" anything.

I read the backcover description on Memory Beta a few months ago, and just from that I could tell that it seemed to have almost the exact same story as Reunion.

I enjoyed Saratoga, but ya, it was undeniably a complete rehash of Reunion.

I like Saratoga and finding out more about the mystery and the secrets surrounding Jennifer Sisko's death in the book is revealed.
