Academy Award® Winning Haskell Wexler’s Latino: America’s Secret War In Nicaragua. Available On DVD June 14, 2011

Released for the first time as director’s cut: From Haskell Wexler, one of the most decorated and well-respected cinematographers in the movie business, comes the director’s cut of his classic, LATINO: AMERICA’S SECRET WAR IN NICARAGUA. The film is set in the context of the battle between the Sandinista government in Nicaragua and the U.S. backed Contra rebels. Eddie Guerrero (Robert Beltran) is a Vietnam vet sent to help U.S. Special Forces train the rebels. He falls for a local girl, Marlena (Annette Cardona); however, when her father is killed by the Contras, things change.

I very like that movie. It`s touching, interesting and - we can watch the same situation all over the world.

Thought this'd be about Night of the Comet. Bummer

Night of the Comet has already been released one or two years ago.:)

@ nightwind- I like "Lone Wolf McQuade" .
@ Markira - Robert in"Kiss me a killer " is overwhelming.
I can`t discribe it. He`s charming, sexy, touching. The story isn`t that great, but him... And-he`s dancing and singing!
I own the movie on VHS but I would like to have it on DVD.
