Just found this online. To celebrate 13 years of command and conquer EA are allowing people to download ISO images of the original red alert game for the pc for free. This is the updated version which came on the command and conquer first decade pack so is fully windows xp compatible.

The game is quite old but still worth a play. The total size of the files is 1GB and not sure how long EA will allow people to download.

Ahh, the ol' tank rush tactic :D About as subtle as a brick through your living room window, but quite lethal. Used to have fun playing that......

    :guffaw:

I should send EA an email saying their directions are bullshit and they should send me all the C&Cs for free. I wasted probably an hour trying to install the bullshit and it will never work.

Much fun as that would be for retro's sake, dial-up and one gig of data don't mesh together so well :D

Not so retro. I mean, it was a contemporary of StarCraft, and that's still around.
