Just found this online. To celebrate 13 years of command and conquer EA are allowing people to download ISO images of the original red alert game for the pc for free. This is the updated version which came on the command and conquer first decade pack so is fully windows xp compatible. The game is quite old but still worth a play. The total size of the files is 1GB and not sure how long EA will allow people to download. http://www.ea.com/redalert/news-detail.jsp?id=62
I used to totally rock this game in multiplayer. 10 War Factories.....let's see you defeat about 300 medium tanks....
OMG!!!!OMG!!!OMG!!!...Did you see the trailer on the site, did you see all the stars in the game, its even got Sulu in it......When did this happen.
Ahh, the ol' tank rush tactic About as subtle as a brick through your living room window, but quite lethal. Used to have fun playing that...... GM
Incompatible with Vista. I always knew this day would come. Oh well, it looks like I'm stuck with the RA3 beta.
It would be great if the fucking directions I fucking followed fucking made the fucknig game fucking work. I fucking hate fucking EA.
I should send EA an email saying their directions are bullshit and they should send me all the C&Cs for free. I wasted probably an hour trying to install the bullshit and it will never work.
