E-Books or Paper Books??

I like both e-books and paper books. E-books are nice when you are travelling or working out (they can easily rest on your treadmill). Paperback books are nice when you want to underline things or easily reference them.

I got an Ipad for Christmas and was thinking about getting E-Books. Paperbacks are nice though.

^ Will you get them as e-books or paper books? (See, folks, back on topic!)

I will probably never buy a paper book again, unless it's an emergency (such as I find a copy of Bleeding Pinstripes). I find e-reading much easier. It's really Kindled my fancy.

I prefer paper books. I look at a computer all day, and a paper book is a way to disconnect.

Picked up the Sony E-Reader last year:

E-ink really reads as comfortable as printed books and you can change the font...

E-reader for me. Space is limited and it's nice to be able to adjust the font to fit my comfort level.

Oh you.

Anyway, reading on my iPad allows books, full colour and illustrated for much cheaper prices, comics and graphic novels all in one place. One I can be guranteed to find them and at reasonable prices.

Before that it was a damn hassle going to a dozen different places, never being guaranteed a copy, waiting weeks, paying through the nose, never having room for them all.

Now I just buy it, sit down, and read it. No matter what it is, and never misplace it around the house, or a shelf.

Paper. Hands down. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind reading electronic books, I just prefer hard cover or paper backs a little more.

I like paper books, but I like the immediacy of an electronic book. For example, I'll download the latest Star Trek book on Monday night when it's released than having to wait to go to the store/to be delivered.

Anymore I get physical copies of books that I want to be sure to have around/look nice on a bookshelf.

More reasonable once Apple's price-fixing scam was shut down.

Which says something about the "good old" brick stores always charging more than that, that e-books where still always more viable.
