Thought it might be nice to have a thread about e-book deals. While not Trek, it might be of help to those who frequent this forum. Today I got The Fifties by David Halberstam for $1.99! It is 654 pages and usually runs $14.99. http://www.amazon.com/The-Fifties-e...F8&qid=1375316795&sr=1-1&keywords=the+fifties I think the deal is good until midnight.
Barnes & Noble has a bunch of the X-Files novel e-books for only $0.99. I picked up the first one this weekend. I'm not sure if it's a sale or a regular thing, so I would recommend picking them up if you are interested. The last time they did this with something I was interested in I debated getting it for a while, and by the time I decided to it was back to the full price.
If folks didn't already know, Amazon runs a Kindle daily deal. You sign up for the notification and get an email every day about a handful of ebooks on sale. I've scored a few nice hits on that recently, including the Cold Equations trilogy by Dave Mack and Tim Zahn's classic Star Wars novel Heir to the Empire. http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000677541 Amazon also has a rotating collection of ebooks on deep discount every month. Sometimes you can get some really good books for under $3.
