Really annoying...

I guess I'm really not sure what you're talking about/what the problem is.

Anyway, worst BD packaging I've encountered was with the Back to the Future Trilogy BD set that came out a couple years ago.

You know how with pretty much every disc-based form of media in the history of mankind has you pressing the center hub to release the tension on the disc either causing it to pop free or at least allowing you to lift the disc? In some cases usually you can just pop the disc out without pressing anything?

Yeah, Universal (or whoever) didn't do that with the BTTF BDs. Instead of the usual way of removing the disc you sort-of had to push down on the disc (laterally) and then sort-of lift it out.

Yeah, I swapped those discs into a standard DVD case right away.

Weird, I have the same set on blu-ray, but got the hard paper/cardboard "pages", with the discs slipping in. This is also a pain to get the discs out since the "pages" are pretty stiff.

So, what your problem is, there aren't those concave areas where you put your thumb on some of the layers?
