Dual monitors & Ultramon

I've been using 2 monitors & Ultramon at work for a while now.

Win7 x86, 2 Dell monitors (P2412H & P2411H - virtually identical)

Ultramon is the only approved software for dual monitors where I work, so using a different app isn't an option.

The issue is, some windows always open back up on the same monitor where they were closed and some keep opening up on monitor #2 (not the main display) no matter where they were closed.

Anyone here use the same setup and/or have the same issue?

Weird. I have almost the same setup as you, except my Dell monitors are 23" ones. I haven't noticed mine doing that, usually everything opens back up where I closed it. I do have a problem with it not saving my icon positions all the time correctly, though.

What kind of Video Card are you using with this? Something might be configured in either the ATI or nVidia control panel.

*Update: Just got to work to check... I'm using version 2.7.1, with a AMD Radeon 6450.

It says it has an NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS.

OK. If you can, go to the control panel. In there, you will find the nVidia control panel. Open that, and you should see a category for multiple displays.

I don't remember exactly, but you should be able to see if you have a custom profile set up for your displays.

I know I can get into the NVIDIA control panel at work, the one here at home doesn't look like much since I only have the one monitor here.

Hmm. Looks like nothing to adjust, there. What programs are doing it to you? I'd like to see what it does on mine.
