DS9 themed room-bar/hangout

I just got back from visiting the STTE last weekend. It was wonderfull and sad all at the same time and my family will miss it. I have always had a desire to make a DS9 themed room in my basement. I just finsihed building the house and my basement is unfinished. I now wnat to do it more than ever since Quarks is gone. If this is the wrong thread to post this just point me in the right direction. I am looking for advise, expertise and ideas for a DS9 themed room. I know I want a bar and the THOLIAN glass paned decoration from Quarks has to be included in the design. Please feel free to post ideas and suggestions.

Try to replicate the bar from the Experience. I'm not a very creative person but I just got back from the Experience and my only recommendation is to copy that. Keep us posted on your progress. Post before and after pics!

It's been ages since I read it (lost) but maybe the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manaual? I know that it had detailed info about the layout of Ops. I'm not sure if it included a layout of Quark's. If it does, that's a good place to start.

Oh yeah. And the Deep Space Nine Companion too.

Just make sure you have a Warp Core Breach sitting up on the bar!

I've been acquiring resource material, Ie... Making of DS9, Deep space nine companion and all the photos I've taken of STTE. I've also been checking out different paints and bulding produts. I'm also saving up latinum..

I think there should be a first-ever Indiana Meetup at your bar when it's done. That would definitely put all the other meetups to shame.
