I noticed that too. I had hoped they would finish season 4. Nice to see it on, even if Bravo has already shown it first. In the Pale Moonlight was on at the weekend.
They've done the same with Voyager - Equinox part 1 was on Friday night and then said they weren't showing season 6 until June or something! So I've bought season 6 on DVD and shall watch Equinox part 2 today. 
And staying somewhat on topic - I'd never seen any DS9 until I started watching it on Virgin 1. I've really enjoyed watching it, it's a great series.
That's the problems with TV networks nowadays. They don't show a series on a continuous and consistant basis. They skip epsodes and just make a person want to go out and buy the DVD's.
Sky was in the habbit of that a couple of years ago with TNG. They showed it from the start (again), got half way through the third season and i watched and waited as I wanted to see BOTW again.
They they suddenly skipped half way to the latter half of S4. They did the same around S5/6.
Virgin showing Trek was a nice bonus though. And not showing stuff on a contunious loop is the best idea I've seen lately - Sky's constant Trek, Stargate and Simpsons loop coupled with E4's Friends and Scrubs loop make for some boring TV.
Yeah, took em a while to get back to DS9, after showing half of TNG and VOY. Alas, I have no need to watch it now. They took it off so abruptly last March that I went and bought seasons 6 and 7 on DVD. Take THAT Virgin1
