DS9 Computer in "The Next Phase"

I was re-watching “The Next Phase” on DVD the other night, and came across a connection that I never read or heard about. The transporter Chief who looses Geordi and Ro in the transporter accident and subsequently works with Cmdr. Data throughout the episode sounds just like the Cardassian Computer used on DS9. Now the credits say that Chief Brossmer was played by actress Shelby Leverington, and the computer on DS9 was voiced by Judi Durand, who also voiced the computer in many other Trek related titles.

But if want to see what my fuss is about watch the last act, starting with the Funeral and listen to the voice Data talks with about starting the scans in Ten-Forward. Is that voice not DS9’s computer. Is this the same actress, but using different name? Or is it an audio dub? Or am I missing the mark here?

I always kind of thought that Patricia Tallman (who played the Defiant helm officer in "Way of the Warrior") sounded a lot like Majel Barrett's computer voice when she gives her line.
