Oh well, I'll give it a shot. Anyone who has any complaints, talk to the Jem'Hadar at the entrance, he's always seemed really sweet... :evil: :p

K, I'm going to keep what I think was the old system- 2 weeks to enter, may give a bit of extra time if people need it. If more than 8 people enter, you can vote for 2 avatars- IIRC that was the poll result? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

And normal rules- 70kb, 140X140 pix. apply.

For my maiden DS9 Contest voyage, we'll have a bonus round, and the winner of that one... I think I'll save their theme for, say if we can't get in touch with someone, or for a special future bonus round.

I see this episode as a major one for Bashir, that I think really created the character we see for the rest of the series. He did some real maturing here, that's for sure. And that look says it all.

Wow that was fast you guys! You're right NG, 2 weeks is a pretty long time. I just meant if someone says a message and says if you wait a couple hours I can post one, that'll probably be fine. :)

^ There were a lot of scary villains in SG-1 that stopped being scary after a while. Anubis reminded me a bit too much about the emperor in SW in the end.

The priors were excellent villains but they too stopped being scary after a while. :(
 
^Oh yeah I agree with you both on this one. The Goa'uld became a bit of a joke towards the end, even Ba'al who became comic relief (as seen in WWW's av:rommie:).

Still better than the replicators...
 
^ Agreed!

Even P90 bullets could dismantle the creepy crawly replicators in the end. But I do love the show to bits even with these flaws! :D
 
Me 3. It helped that Ba'al and other guy weren't hard to look at, so I didn't mind when they became more crafty and funny than simply "bad." I liked them more than the Ori... the replicators got old... nah, I'm just repeating what you guys said... XD

I've seen all episodes until ep 9 "Life".
I like that it's a total opposite from Atlantis, it's more realistic that way, and I like the dark mood and the flawed characters. I'm not that fond of the earth storylines although the ones in "Life" were much better than in previous episodes. If they make stories like in "Life" the earth storylines might grow on me.

Have you all seen any SG:U?

I've seen SG:U... not a big fan, tbh. I'd find it more tolerable if they chopped out all the superfluous stuff and made it 1/2 an hour at the rate they're going... personally.
 
^ Hopefully the show will have found it's voice by the end on the season! There have indeed been some superfluous stuff that could have be cut from most episodes.
