Doctor : The Doctor
Xtra non-crew : Mot the barber

Picard (for his command abilities)

Geordi (for his engineer abilities, he also doubles as a binocular)

Data (without his emotion chip, he could be an unstoppable killing machine, and his tech science skills would be an asset)

The EMH from voyager (for medical reasons and he cant be easily killed)

Kes (for psy abilities just in case a battle needs to be waged in the psy realm, and she doubles as a nurse)

Wolf (for extra killing power)

Seven of Nine (good science abilities, and she can assimilate any threat we encounter. Plus if the away team gets stranded she a good candidate for repopulating the planet with..)

You didnt say what kind of mission we were going on!!! I am going to assume it is to a pleasure planet.

Seriously though,

Kirk - assuming I am not wearing a red shirt - you never know when he might need to talk a machine to death

Spock - cmon, its Spock

Riker - a Kirk from a different generation - now we have two Kirks on this mission - the only drawback is it will limit my chances if we encounter any hot alien babes.

Data - You have to have Data for all that he brings to the table.

The Doctor - As much I like McCoy (he is an Ole Miss alum after all) he lost too many patients esp on away missions. The Doctor I think had a higher survival rate.

O'Brien - He's good in a fight and he can fix most anything.

Geordi - Visor might come in handy.


So now I have good fighters while covering the sciences, engineering and medical needs. I think this away team could handle almost anything.
