One photo of myself and a Mr. Michael Hogan, aka Saul Tigh to the rest of you knuckledraggers.

I have a few more here http://picasaweb.google.com/nicolew100/DragonCon2009#

I had a really good time, much better than I would have thought. And believe it or not...after this photo I actually cried. I can't believe I cried...I didn't think I was a cross between a teenage girl thinking she was meeting a Boy Band and a massive Nerd.:guffaw:

Ack! Soo....very...jealous! That looks like so much fun. Gosh, I would have never recognized "Ianto." He looks so different with a mustache.

I missed all the Farscape panels AND the 10th anniv. Farscape party. AAAGGGGHHHH!

Altho I did get into the Colonial Fleet Party...but still. AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

I was up on 47 at one point in the weekend. You didn't want to go up that far, trust me.

ETA: The one you have as you have no idea? We suspected that was supposed to be the ghost from Raiders when the Ark is opened. Unfortunately, nobody got a chance to go down and ask.

Are the hot chicks actresses or company people? When I was at GenCon wayback, they had hot chicks working all the booths. What was the policy on guns, swords, etc?

So many hot guys in those pics. And Michael Hogan, who is also hot in his own way. Thanks for posting the pictures. I enjoyed looking at the them. The venue looked great, and busy, too!

Save for the picture that had Claudia Black in it, I think they were all fans.

And the policy is usually peace bonding on costume weapons. That's what it's been every time I've had to deal with it for a costume.

I just recall seeing some pictures of police having a stormtrooper "assume the position" because of his gun. I didn't think they were joke pictures. The cops had their trigger happy, shove a taser up your ass look that they get. That was a few years ago and I don't know where it was from.

Here is the link to the pics that my son took. I gave him the dSLR and turned him loose. As a 9 year old he did pretty good. The cool thing is that he started to ask for, and get, specific poses. Pic 40 was his best posed shot. He also stumped the panelists at two discussions with his questions

Im going to try to convince my wife to leave the kids at home or get them their own hotel room so we can have some after hours fun.

From what I saw, all weapons were peace bonded. Folks in costume had to carry dulled edged weapons and any realistic firearm props all had to be clearly fakes (as evidenced by the orange barrel cap). Totally unreal firearms props were allowed with out any distinctive markings. As for those that were there legally carrying concealed weapons...well they were concealed so who knows.

I wish more folks had spoken up in the meetup thread, I wish I could have met more of you.
