Dr. Who: The First Doctor (William Hartnell) Deepfake

Yes. I had to use mostly B&W clips from the 1960s episodes and some colorized pictures and movie video (from the "The Mouse That Roared") that were available for the original Doctor's face set.

nothing from The Three Doctors?

Interesting but not quite Steve Buscemi Jennifer Lawrence level.

You're right, but remember that the A.I. tech isn't magical. The quality of the output depends on the quality of the input. I didn't have access to high-quality video for William Hartnell's face and had to use mainly B&W clips from the 1960s.

I didn't realize you created this, I would have been more tactful, I've seen the effort that goes into it and have never worked up the ambition to try one for myself.

No problem at all, you should see some of the comments I've gotten from viewers. I'm working on putting Bill Hartnell in "The Five Doctors" because several subscribers have requested. Ideas and suggestions are welcome.
That would be awesome, and please make it!

Sounds like what you're needing is to go a few years earlier - to This Sporting Life, Carry on Sergeant and the other angry military type roles Hartnell was doing in movies in the late 50's/early 60's. Wouldn't be in color either, but it'd be DVD if not HD quality.
