Dose the Borg use deflector shields?

Well that is quit confusing.
In episode Q Who,when ED fired at the Cube before it adapt,a large part of the hull was vaporized by the phaser beam. However in episode Unimatrix 01,during the combat between Voy and Cube 630,we can see obviously see that the cube was using some kind of deflector shields.
I searched memory alpha, found that the Borg use something called High Energy Subspace Field as their defence. But is that deflector shields?

Whatever defensive mechanism it was, all that I can say is that they had certainly adapted to that old 2360’s tech by the 70’s!

Borg shields seem to be extremely specialized. The drawback is that when exposed to a new weapon, they're completely vulnerable to it, but the benefit is that once they've analyzed it, the customized energy shield they deploy is all but impenetrable.
