By the time the TNG movies roll around, they started having PADDs with larger screens; Picard's desk was littered with them in Insurrection. (and still they look clunky compared to an iPad Pro!)

OTOH, a modern iPad Pro might be the first to malfunction when exposed to a small percentage of radiation hazards present on a starship or off of Earth. The extra bulk is due to radiation hardening

Last of all, the circular corner nooks are 3 feet in diameter, as opposed to two feet on the schematic.

I still don't know if my layout is completely accurate, but this was the only way I could get everything to appear roughly the same dimensions as we see on screen. Here's a top-down comparison, with my build in red.


The structure of the FC room is in place, going to do the adjustments for the INS version (the ceiling was raised by a foot, the door to the side of the desk chair is mirrored, and the shelving near the window was covered/removed) before starting propping!

Mate, where did you get the schematics/floor plans from?
