    Sad news that Don Van Vliet, better known by his 1965 - 1982 music persona Captain Beefheart, has died of complications arising from MS aged 69.

    Farewell to a true individual, artist and all-round "fast 'n' bulbous" freak. Thanks for the trip - RIP
