We had to put our sweet Zoe to sleep Friday. She had lymphoma, and was going downhill fast. Really didn't want to do it, but it was the best option for her.

I'm sorry to hear that. We had a cancer scare with our 7 year old dachshund a few weeks ago. It turned out to be a combination of pancreatitis and diabetes instead. Not great but at least manageable.

So sorry for your loss, B.J. It was the right thing to do but it's still difficult to have a pet put to sleep. I've had to go through it several times and it never gets easier.
