Does Saru get to be included in the bald captain's club?

Granted we don't know how the next season plays out or how long he will be the captain of the ship but if they keep him in the job at least a year should he get to be included with Picard,Sisko,KIrk(depending on your wig stance) and Robau? Does the fact he is a alien and not a human mean his baldness doesn't count? Does the fact that even if he is the captain but not the serious lead also mean he can't be counted?
