Does Atlantis still have a ZPM.

They don't have it.

That way it's more exciting when the Wraith inevitably attack Atlantis in the series finale :D

There is still at least one ZPM there right, the attack in First Contact did not drain or affect the shields because they simply went through it.

I think the ZPM was drained trying to keep the shield around the exploding Stargate so that when it blew, it didn't take half of the city with it.

But we don't know how much it was drained. The fact that Rodney said that he re-worked the shield so that the Asgards ship can't pass through it again at the end of the episode seems to indicate that they are still capable of raising the city shield, which means there is enough ZPM power for that. They also did not mention that they had to shut parts of the city down (which you have to if going back to Naquada power) so I assume the city is being powered by the ZPM right now. Until we hear anything further, assume the ZPM is powering the city.

Oh, and they were able to send Daniel back through the stargate to Earth, so yeah, the ZPM works.

I think the writers should introduce a new power source.

A BLACK ZPM.

What's the difference between a normal ZPM and a Black ZPM I hear you ask. well i'll let you in on a little secret....

I don't have a flipping clue, i'll leave it to the writers to think something up.

Yeah have them get a Black zpm in in the last 5 minutes of the series finale. So the writers can say F*Jew...theres your fully powered Atlantis ya bastards...

Oh yes people I have the greatest story idea for the Black ZPM, here it is...

The Black ZPM once switched on is capable of recharging itself but unfortunately it is very unstable because it doesn't stop recharging and if left to recharge beyond it's maximum potential it overloads and explodes ripping a hole in the fabric of space which is why the Ancient scientist who built it kept it locked away in his laboratory. When the Atlantis team discover the Black ZPM they connect it up to Atlantis, but they discover that the ZPM is recharging faster than it is being drained, when they try to disconnect it they can't. They decide to try and use as much power as possible to reverse the recharge rate, they power up the entire city including the city shield but the ZPM still recharges faster than being drained and it's only a matter of time before it overloads. Eventually McKay comes up with a plan to extend the city shield as far as possible, it works in reducing the recharge rate allowing just enough time for the Daedalus to arrive. McKay believes once the ZPM is disconnected it will stop recharging and believes it may be possible to use the Asgard transporter technology on the Daedalus to beam it out, even if it fails the ZPM will explode anyway so they go ahead with the plan. The Daedalus locks on and begins transport. The plan is a success and the Black ZPM is beamed aboard the Daedalus and shuts itself off.

Earth now has themselves an extremely powerful ZPM but are unable to use it unless the device it's hooked up to uses huge amounts of power.

Here's a little spoiler.
The Atlantis team trick the wraith into stealing the Black ZPM, the lead ship of a wraith attack fleet comprising of 110 hive ships and companion ships plugs it into their ship, the ZPM overloads and explodes wiping out the wraith fleet.

Another spoiler.
I think I should write for Stargate. Whatcha think? ;)
