Does anyone still play the Star Trek CCG?

It's been 10 years since the last expansion was released for the Star Trek Customizable Card Game and I was wondering if there is still anyone out there who plays the game. Which edition is the more popular one?

not in a long time. wish there was a computer version of it so it could be played either online or offline against the computer; would be fun to try again

You may want to check out the site of the Continuing Committee, which has been supporting the CCG community with events and new expansions since the official line ended.

I myself have not played a game since my college days, and was always strictly a First Edition player - and probably spent more time making dream cards than actually playing. Fond memories though.

It's also been a long time for me, not that I was ever able to play much. 1st edition only. I had too much invested to start over. A few years ago, I filled a few holes in my collection, in case I was ever able to play again. My teenage kids are into Yu-Gi-Oh and occasionally rope me into playing with them, so I may teach them to play ST:CCG. :techman:

I just started getting back into it. Trying to get my 1st Edition collection back in order. I had every card from every series back in the day, but sold the entire collection. I had a lot of doubles that I kept and have been trying to fill in all the blanks, still a ways to go to complete the collection.

If you're interested in playing it on the computer you can, both the 1st and 2nd Editions. There's as app that allows you to plug the STCCG cards into it. As @Tirius mentioned, go to the Continuing Committee site and from there if you go to their forums you'll see threads dedicated to it. There's even an iPad app that will allow you to play against other people. The great thing is that it's cross-platform.

+1 on The Continuing Committee

I collect 1E, still working on the WB94 and 95 sets. I was fortunate enough to find All Good Things and The Motion Pictures for a steal.

There are still tournaments even that TCC holds, they even have furthered the game with their own unofficial expansions.
