First, to clarify I'm not collector per say, never have been. That being said I'm looking to acquire some 70's and 80's original figures. They simply make me nostalgic and they make me smile, and I am looking for the ones of good quality.

My first question is that I bought a loose Boba Fett with gun, and he had gray arms and light green instead of being solid light blue. the guy told me that the version I bought was the ROTJ version of which they only made one of, which is why it was more heavily sought after from his ESB counterpart (of which they had three releases. here was a picture in a catalog that he showed me. Is this true?

I just know they're worth a ton of money if in good condition and if mint/still in the box worth a small fortune.

70s nerds who grew up and now have highly paid nerd jobs make everything possible

Oh I 4got to tell you, that I have some carded figures but this Boba Fett isn't carded,. He does have a gun, and his arms and legs are lighter than the rest of him and the guy showed me a picture that this is the ROTJ version

Plastic discolor with age, so that might be a reason. By vintage I assume you talking 70's/80's figures not the 90's/00's ones.

NickRyder I'll check out the site.

MeanJoePhaser Yeah I'm talking about the former, Kenner releases, and yes, the coloration different is actual and not due to age
