This question may seem stupid, but it concerns me, and this forum is the best place for any conversations about Star Trek. The question concerns one character from Vulcans - doctor Yuris from the episode "Stigma". I'm a BIG fan of this species, and I've read a lot about them. But the point of my question is that the Yuris is somehow extremely unpopular compared to at least two other doctors from this episode. I found and read a lot of fan-fiction involving Strom and Oratt, a lot of very good fan-fiction. But with Yuris there is only one story where he is the main character. Why is that? Why do Strom, Oratt, other Vulcans, for example, Tolaris, Kov, even Minister Kuvak and Administrator V'Las have their attention and fan-fiction dedicated to them, but Yuris does not? After all, he turned out to be a kind and noble character who sacrificed all his well-being and position in the name of saving T'Pol. But no one remembers him. Why?
