Doctor Who: Victimsight

Anyone have any clue what Doctor Who: Victimsight is?

All I know is it's apparently a fan film and it must be a pretty good one because one of its actresses, one Aurora Buchanan, has been nominated for a Best Actress award at the Constellation Awards, alongside the likes of Emma Watson, Zoe Saldana and Dakota Fanning.

Sort of reminds me of when a fan-made Star Trek film got nominated for a Hugo opposite Doctor Who, BSG, etc. a few years ago.

The nomination is mentioned briefly in this Doctor Who News Page item:

PS: that expanding Avatar banner ad with the loud music has gotten old REAL fast...

I found their official site, which offers the movie streaming on the front page.

A solid if not overwhelming fan effort. All the obviously fake accents are distracting though and from the first 10 minutes or so that I've watched thus far I don't see her performance as anything to write home about outside the context of it being an amateur-made fan film.

The fanfilm wasn't bad. OK acting; decent story. Attractive companion. The pacing needs to be punched up a bit, though.

From The Constellation Awards website:

The Constellation Awards are also the only Canadian science fiction film and TV awards where YOU, the Canadian viewing public, get to select the nominees and winners in all categories.

hmmmm...
