Doctor Who tops iTunes sales for 2011

Here's a surprise: Apple in the US has released a list of the top 10-selling TV series on iTunes. Doctor Who is at No. 1, outranking Modern Family, Dexter, True Blood, Glee, Entourage, and Walking Dead!

This isn't a UK thing - where DW regularly outstrips all competition - but the US.

The same article also reports that Elisabeth Sladen was ranked #6 in terms of Actresses discussed on Twitter this year, outranking Jennifer Lopez and Emma Watson. (Quite significant regarding Watson remembering this was the year of the final Potter film.)
