Okay, I decided to try something new on this forum in which we regular engage in in another forum. This is called a draft and in this one, we will be casting a new series of doctor who and it usually helps if we write a premise for the series to help gain votes!
To be more specific, we draft:
You can cast an actor or actress that has been on the show before.
You cannot cast an actor or actress which as already been cast as the doctor or companion by someone else as the doctor or companion (IE if you cast Dave 1 as the doctor, no one else will be allowed to cast Dave 1 as the doctor, but you would be allowed to cast Dave 1 as the companion or anyone else in the series).
If you want to play, please post in this thread. You can already send me your picks.
Once we start playing, everyone has an amount of time to make their picks before the next player is on, but you can always make your picks after your turn. You just risk that someone else snatches a certain pick away from you. If you send your picks to me or a moderator in advance, you reduce the risk of missing your turn.

- The 13th Doctor. An actor or actress to replace Peter Capaldi once he retires. In the past, the role has been played by William Hartnell, Tom Baker, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and a bunch of others.
- A companion. Traditionally, this is a female character with a will they won't they relationship with the Doctor. Past examples are Sarah Jane Smith, Rose Tyler, Martha Jones and Amy Pond.
- An antagonist or group of antagonists. This is the one key villain that ties the whole season together. The mystery that keeps foreshadowing the season finale. This could be the Daleks, the Cybermen, a previously unknown reincarnation of the Master, an overly ambitious human, the Ood, any figure from the Doctor's past or someone else entirely. If it's a single opponent, please cast them now. If it's a group of villains, cast one of them now and give us the rest in the lightning round.
- A Showrunner. Since the 2005 reboot, this position has been filled by Russell T. Davies and Steven Moffat. But Moffat won't do this forever, so who should step up to fill his shoes?
- A historical figure. The Doctor has been known to mingle with quite a few historical characters. Shakespeare, Dickens, Nixon, Churchill, Marilyn Monroe, Vincent Van Gogh and countless others. Who will be the blast from the past cameo this time? And who will play them?
