Doctor Who Avatar Contest - "First Appearance"

Thanks, once again, for your votes in last week's contest.

Taking a break from the "X is for..." theme. This contest is for avatars featuring the first appearance of characters, alien races, etc in the Doctor Who universe. With the proviso that they must have at some point made a return appearance in a later episode/serial (i.e. no one-off appearances).

The usually av conditions apply.

I'll post the voting thread on Sunday night (GMT).

I just re-read the setup. Since Simm appeared in three episodes, does his Master count? Or would it have to be three different "stories"? If so let me know and I'll change it...

Hmmm, different stories would be better, but "Utopia" is almost distinct from the following two-parter...

I don't like to be heavy-handed with these contests. I'd prefer to let the voters have the final say on whether the avatars fit the theme or not.
